AI R&D Engineer (Conversational AI) 1+ years

Job description:

We are building an advanced AI Agent that combines Speech-to-Text (STT), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Text-to-Speech (TTS) technologies. We are looking for an experienced AI R&D Engineer with strong Python skills and hands-on experience in AI research, model integration, and optimization.This role involves taking AI ideas from research and experimentation to production-ready systems, with a strong focus on intelligent conversational AI.

Responsibilities :

• Research, design, and develop AI agent architectures using STT, LLM, and TTS
• Experiment with and evaluate speech recognition, language models, and speech synthesis technologies
• Build and integrate end-to-end conversational AI pipelines
• Optimize models for latency, accuracy, and scalability
• Fine-tune LLMs for domain-specific use cases
• Customize and fine-tune TTS models for voice quality and performance
• Integrate AI models using APIs and open-source frameworks
• Explore emerging AI technologies and suggest improvements
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams for deployment
• Document research, experiments, and system designs

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP
• Hands-on experience with STT, LLM, and TTS systems
• Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face
• Knowledge of speech technologies like Whisper, Vosk, DeepSpeech, Tacotron, Coqui TTS, etc.
• Experience working with LLMs (OpenAI, LLaMA, Mistral, or custom models)
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and model deployment
• Strong research, experimentation, and problem-solving skills
