About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team, focusing on designing and implementing LLM-driven solutions to extract and structure personalization signals from AI chat interactions, transforming them into persistent memory attributes for enhanced user recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Design prompts and logic to extract relevant signals from user conversations, such as preferences and concerns
- Convert conversational inputs into structured attributes for persistent memory storage
- Map extracted signals to predefined memory schemas and personalization attributes
- Establish confidence thresholds and validation rules for conversational signal storage
- Align extraction logic with product signals in collaboration with the Experience Consultant
- Partner with backend engineers to deploy signal extraction in production workflows
- Evaluate and optimize prompt strategies for improved accuracy
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with LLM-based systems and prompt engineering
- Proficiency in Python
- Expertise in designing LLM prompts for tasks like classification, extraction, or summarization
- Familiarity with LLM APIs such as OpenAI
- Understanding of conversational AI systems and chat assistants
- Fluent communication skills in English at a B2+ level
