The Principal Software Engineer is a senior technical leader embedded in our agile development organization, driving the architecture and delivery of our next-gen compliance platform. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will own technical direction, mentor and elevate a team of developers, and contribute meaningfully at the individual contributor level. The ideal candidate brings over 10 years of full-stack experience, leads with vision rather than command-and-control, and has a track record of guiding distributed, multi-time zone teams to ship high-quality software.
You will be expected to think beyond your immediate team. As a member of our Team Leads Team, you will collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering leaders, share learnings, and help shape engineering culture and practice across the broader organization. You will also work hand in hand with your Product Manager to shape, sequence, and deliver priorities. You will translate product strategy into technical execution and bring engineering insight back into roadmap decisions.

- Set the technical vision for your team's domain and continuously raise the bar on code quality, maintainability, and performance across the codebase.
- Architect, write, and review reusable, testable, and efficient code (Clean Code / SOLID principles), and coach the team to do the same.
