About the Role
HEY THERE!
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join the Tracking Experience squad at Yazio—the team behind the core of our product: the daily food tracking, AI-driven insights and features millions of people use every day.
This is not a role where you receive a brief and focus only on execution. You’ll be the design voice of your squad, owning the full journey from discovery to delivery. You’ll work closely with your Product Manager and engineers, and regularly present your work to senior stakeholders.

This role is 100% remote and open to candidates based in Germany, Spain, Portugal or the U.K.
YOUR MISSION
- Own the full design journey end-to-end—from shaping problems in discovery to delivering high-quality solutions in production. You define what to explore, choose the right research approaches and turn insights into clear product directions that improve both user experience and business outcomes
- Design high-quality mobile experiences for core product features such as food tracking, daily insights and habit-building flows. You focus on reducing cognitive load, increasing engagement and delivering a high level of visual and interaction quality
- Explore and iterate quickly by prototyping different directions and validating ideas early. You use modern tools, including AI-supported workflows, to move fast—while applying strong judgment to refine and elevate the best solutions
- Work closely with engineers throughout the process to shape feasible solutions and ensure high-quality implementation. You stay involved until delivery, making sure the final product matches the design intent
- Communicate your thinking clearly and confidently. You present your work in Product Reviews (async and live), explain your decisions and handle feedback constructively to support strong team decisions
- Contribute to a consistent and scalable product experience by improving our design system and shared libraries, helping the team move faster without compromising quality
- Bring a strong user perspective to every decision. You consider behavior, motivation and real-life context to design experiences that not only work well, but also feel intuitive and engaging
YOUR PROFILE
- You have experience designing B2C mobile products, with a strong understanding of engagement, habit formation and user motivation
- You are comfortable leading product discovery and turning insights into clear design decisions
- You have a strong sense of visual quality and attention to detail, and take pride in your craft
- You use modern tools, including AI-supported workflows, to explore and validate ideas more efficiently
- You communicate clearly and confidently with both designers and non-designers
- You are comfortable working with high ownership and autonomy, and making decisions within your domain
- You have experience designing core product features or activation flows, ideally in health, fitness or other habit-driven products
