You Are:

Lead AFS’s cloud and AI strategic advisory delivery for Federal Cyber client program/project, serving as Deputy Program Manager for the engagement. S/He will direct senior SMEs, translate their insights into actionable plans, and ensure AFS delivers high‑value strategic advisory— not staff augmentation. They will also maintain and grow program funding by demonstrating measurable impact and building strong, trusted client relationships.

The Work:

Strategic Advisory Delivery

  • Shape engagement scope to maintain an advisory posture and prevent scope drift toward staff augmentation.

Program Management (Deputy PM)

  • Manage a team of four FTEs (three SMEs plus one additional team member), including task direction, performance feedback, and delivery quality.
  • Maintain CDRLs, status reporting, financial tracking, and contract compliance in coordination with the Program Manager.

Client Relationship & Growth

  • Act as a senior day‑to‑day client interface, building trust with GS‑14/15 initiative owners.
  • Maintain program funding by demonstrating clear, measurable client impact.
  • Identify and shape follow‑on and expansion opportunities through SME engagement; partner with capture and account leadership to pursue them.

Internal Orchestration

  • Integrate AFS capabilities across cloud, data, AI, and security to reinforce SME recommendations.
  • Represent the program internally, surfacing risks, resourcing needs, and growth signals to AFS leadership.

Here's What You Need:

  • Bachelors Degree or 10+ years of industry experience
  • 7+ years of federal consulting or technology delivery experience
  • Previous Deputy PM or PM experience on a federal program.
  • Familiarity with AI, cloud, and cybersecurity topics in a federal civilian context.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead strategy engagements.
  • Proven track record of sustaining or growing program funding through demonstrated client impact and value stories.
  • Experience managing senior SMEs and converting technical guidance into client ready action plans.

Bonus Points If:

  • Advanced Degree
  • 15+ years of industry experience
  • Motivated and proactive, with a desire to understand and address complex areas
  • Curiosity for learning about new technology, industry best practices, and areas of risk, analyzing and turning new insights into concrete action
  • Commitment to delivering tangible outcomes for customers and stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent people management and relationship development skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Accenture delivery methodologies and practices
