Your tasks
- You support experienced Data Scientists in the development, training and evaluation of machine learning models, in particular ranking algorithms in the context of search engines.
- You conduct exploratory data analyses for drift monitoring.
- You take responsibility for specific sub-tasks, such as feature engineering.
- You work closely with a cross-functional team of data scientists, data engineers and software developers and learn how data science works at scale in the real world of business.
- You gain hands-on experience with our modern cloud stack (Databricks, Google Cloud) and we will support you in mastering these tools.
Your profile
- You are currently studying AI, Data Science, Computer Science or a quantitative subject such as Economics/Mathematics with a focus on data.
- You have already gained initial experience with data science projects (e.g. through internships, university projects or a thesis). Knowledge of search engines / NLP is a plus.
- You have a basic understanding of ML methods.
- You are passionate about solving complex problems, have basic Python skills and are highly motivated to learn new technologies in a dynamic environment.
- As we are an international team, you communicate confidently in English. Knowledge of German is a nice extra, but not a must.
