About The Role
The Vice President of Communications will lead the company’s global communications strategy, reporting directly to the CMO. This executive will oversee corporate, technology, and executive communications, ensuring a unified narrative across media, investors, employees, and key stakeholders.
This role requires a seasoned communications leader with deep experience in financial communications, including IPO readiness, earnings support, investor messaging, and engagement with financial media and analysts. The VP will serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team and play a critical role in shaping the company’s public positioning during its next phase of growth.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy aligned with corporate objectives and growth milestones.
- Partner closely with the CMO to align brand, marketing, and communications narratives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team on reputation, positioning, and messaging.
Corporate Communications
- Lead corporate messaging, thought leadership, and media strategy.
- Oversee proactive and reactive media relations, including crisis and issues management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier business and technology media.
Financial Communications
- Lead financial communications strategy, including IPO readiness (if applicable), earnings support, investor messaging, and regulatory communications.
- Partner with Finance and Investor Relations to ensure clear, compliant, and compelling external messaging.
- Manage relationships with financial media and analysts.
- Support major corporate milestones including funding announcements, M&A activity, and public market communications.
Technology Communications
- Translate complex technical innovations into clear, compelling narratives for external audiences.
- Support product launches, technical announcements, and industry positioning.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Developer Relations teams to ensure technical accuracy and clarity.
