Lead Data Scientist

We are building a Lead Data Scientist role to create LLM-driven extraction that turns AI chat interactions into durable personalization memory signals.

You will design prompts and validation logic, map outputs to memory schemas, and work closely with product and backend partners to ship improvements in recommendations—apply now.

Responsibilities

• Design prompt strategies and supporting logic to capture meaningful signals from user conversations, including preferences and concerns
• Transform chat-based inputs into structured attributes suitable for persistent memory storage
• Map extracted signals to predefined memory schemas and personalization attributes
• Define confidence thresholds and validation rules that govern when conversational signals are stored
• Align signal-extraction logic with product signals by collaborating with the Experience Consultant
• Collaborate with backend engineers to release signal extraction into production workflows
• Evaluate prompt approaches and optimize strategies to improve extraction accuracy

Requirements

• Proven track record with LLM-based systems and prompt engineering, including 5+ years of relevant experience
• Hands-on proficiency in Python for building and testing prompt workflows
• Deep expertise in crafting LLM prompts for classification, extraction, and summarization tasks
• Practical familiarity with LLM APIs such as OpenAI for conversational use cases
• Solid understanding of conversational AI systems and chat assistants, including signal capture from dialogues
• Fluent English communication skills at B2+ (Upper-Intermediate) level
