LOCATION & FLEXIBILITY
India Hybrid:
Our team at TELUS Digital. To help retain our deep culture of collaboration, this role will maintain an in-office presence in a hybrid capacity . This role can be located in Noida
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a skilled ROR Developer with at least 5 years of experience building scalable, high-performing applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Ruby (backend) and modern JavaScript frameworks (frontend), with exposure to React Native being a plus. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain web and mobile solutions that deliver great user experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Ruby (Ruby on Rails preferred).
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Integrate APIs and services to enable seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security across platforms.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, ENGINEERING, OR RELATED FIELD (OR EQUIVALENT PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE)
BONUS POINTS
- Experience with React Native for mobile app development.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Understanding of automated testing frameworks (RSpec, Jest, etc.)
