Job Description

With its own data scientists, UI/UX designers and business consultants, ThinkCol Transform is currently looking to expand its team and seeking to hire a data scientist. You will work closely with ThinkCol’s data scientists to develop machine learning models and GenAI solutions. As a data scientist, you should be able to understand the business context of our customers, explore data and build analytical models and then present and converse these models to any level of audience.

Responsibilities
Assist senior data scientist in designing and building a reliable and scalable AI infrastructure on cloud platforms or local environment

• Assist senior data scientist in developing custom machine learning models or GenAI solutions for multi-industry clients
• Build and optimise data pipelines to provide clean and organised data products for downstream consumptions (e.g. analytics and machine learning applications)
• Implement analytical data models, dashboards and reports using PowerBI and Tableau to enable customers to analyse data and make informed business decisions
• Communicate data-driven insights and explain machine learning/GenAI techniques to non-technical users. Explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide and senior audience
• Conduct technology research towards AI algorithms and technologies
• Conduct multiple AI and machine learning related courses
• Collaborate and manage clients to identify needs, goals, and business models

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information System, Statistics, Business Analytics or related disciplines in the quantitative field
• Fresh graduates are welcome as well as those who have 1-2 years of relevant working experience
• Proficient in Python and SQL
• Understanding of machine learning/GenAI algorithms and methodology
• Basic understanding of Cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure) is a plus
• Able to explain analytical methodologies and concepts in non-technical language
• Self-motivated team player that has high level of integrity, a strong sense of responsibility, problem-solving skills, and comfortable working in a diverse and fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese
