Solutions Engineer – AI & Generative AI

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Solutions Engineer – AI & Generative AI to join a leading financial services organization in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will drive enterprise AI initiatives, delivering production-ready Generative AI solutions for banking use cases while ensuring compliance, scalability, and integration with existing enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities
AI & Generative AI Design & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end design and deployment of AI and Generative AI models tailored to banking applications.
• Build functional GenAI-enabled capabilities for both prototypes and production systems.
• Create reusable AI modules and frameworks for future projects.
• Maintain comprehensive AI lifecycle documentation (design, training, deployment, monitoring).
• Balance innovative AI solutions with legacy system constraints to ensure scalability.

Enterprise Systems Architecture & Integration

• Ensure AI solutions comply with Enterprise Architecture standards and guidelines.
• Architect secure, scalable deployment frameworks and integration with legacy systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to manage dependencies and mitigate risks.

Ethical AI, Risk & Governance

• Champion ethical AI practices, ensuring transparency, explainability, and compliance.
• Establish governance frameworks, risk controls, and monitoring mechanisms for AI/ML models.
• Track model performance, accuracy, drift, and alerting using dashboards and monitoring tools.
• Address regulatory, ethical, and data privacy requirements throughout the AI lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, Data Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on AI/ML development and 3 years professional JavaScript experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Azure, including AI deployment and integration tools.
• Practical experience with Generative AI frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs).
• Strong understanding of NLP, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
• Proficient in Python; experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and model lifecycle management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
