Unidoc Healthcare is building a next-generation Hospital Information System (HIMS), EMR, and AI-powered clinical workflow platform used by clinics and hospitals.

Our platform integrates modules such as:

• Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Doctor and Nurse Apps
• Pharmacy & Billing Systems
• Clinical documentation automation
• AI-assisted medical workflows

We are expanding our engineering team and looking for Python / AI Backend Interns who want hands-on experience building real healthcare technology systems.

Role Overview

As a Python Intern, you will work on backend services and AI integrations used in real clinical software. The internship focuses on LLM integration, voice-to-text workflows, and API development.

You will work with our engineering team to build scalable services used by doctors and healthcare staff.

Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development

• Develop backend services using Python and FastAPI
• Design and integrate REST APIs
• Work with databases and backend logic for healthcare workflows

AI & LLM Integration

• Integrate OpenAI, Gemini, and other LLM APIs
• Implement clinical documentation automation
• Build AI-assisted search and workflow tools

Voice-to-Text Workflow

• Integrate speech-to-text APIs
• Convert voice input to structured clinical data
• Connect transcription results to application workflows

API & System Integration

• Work with OpenAPI standards
• Integrate APIs with mobile and web applications
• Build modular backend services

Technical SkillsRequired

• Python
• Basic backend development
• REST APIs
• Git
• VS Code

Preferred

• FastAPI / Flask
• LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini)
• Speech-to-Text APIs
• JSON / API integrations
• Basic database knowledge (PostgreSQL / MongoDB)
