About the Role

Position Name: Engineer (Male/Female)

Location: Pune

Qualifications:

  • M. Tech (2-4 years of relevant experience), B.Tech with 5 years of experience.
  • Specialization in: Robotics & AI, Mechatronics, Robotics & Computer Science Engineering, Electrical & Computing, Mechanical (Robotics Honors).

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Reality-to-Simulation (R2S) Feature Development Engineer to build intelligent automation pipelines that convert real-world warehouse environments into high-fidelity, simulation-ready digital twins.

Immediate task:

  • Build automated pipelines that convert real warehouse inputs (point clouds, CAD, images, sensor logs) into high-fidelity, simulation-ready digital twin models.
  • Conduct detailed warehouse layout analysis from point-cloud data, including racks, pallets, traffic pathways, volume utilization, and structural integrity (overhangs, gaps, etc.).
  • Automate virtual commissioning/solutioning workflows for warehouse robots and material-handling systems.
  • Build or integrate pipelines for cost map creation, and path generation
  • Collaborate with software, robotics, and warehouse operations teams to implement scalable automation solutions.
  • Provide engineering insights for robot deployment, layout optimization, and throughput improvements.

Task Roadmaps ahead:

  • Integrate simulation outputs with WMS, WCS, Fleet Manager, and backend warehouse orchestration tools.
  • Simulate end-to-end supply chain and intralogistics flows, including AGV/AMR task assignment, traffic rules, docking, and pallet movement scenarios.
  • Support robot navigation through map generation, localization improvement, cost map creation, and dynamic obstacle updates.
  • Support automatic AGV/AMR path planning, global–local planning, and integration with navigation stacks (ROS2/Nav2).

Core Competencies:

  • Skilled in designing and implementing advanced point-cloud algorithms and features leveraging state-of-the-art research.
  • Expertise in 3D spatial understanding, point-cloud processing, multimodal sensor fusion, and geometric analysis.
  • Proficiency in Python/C++, Open3D, PCL, CUDA, or robotics frameworks.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, Github action/gitlab, Docker containerization
  • 3D Visualization, Skills in rendering, real-time simulation, and spatial dashboards.
  • Experience with Omniverse/Isaac Sim, Unity, Gazebo, RViz, or other 3D simulation platforms.
  • Robotics Fundamentals, SLAM, sensor fusion, localization, navigation, mapping, and planning.

Good to have:

  • 3D perception, Computer vision, AI ML, Deep learning knowledge.
  • Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and databases.
  • Kubernetes, microservices, API integration.
  • ROS/ROS2, Nav2,
  • Understanding of AMR/AGV systems, warehouse material flow, and operational constraints.
  • Exposure to warehouse automation products: conveyors, pallet systems, rack structures, pick stations.
