About the role: 

Turing is looking for one of the most strategically exciting GenAI Engineering roles to join us in solving business problems for our Fortune 500 customers. In this role, you’ll partner directly with customers to design, build, and deploy intelligent applications using Python, Langchain/LangGraph, and large language models. You’ll bridge engineering excellence with customer empathy to solve high-impact real-world problems.

This is a hands-on engineering role embedded within customer projects; ideal for engineers who enjoy ownership, love solving hard problems, and thrive in dynamic, technical environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize LLM-based solutions, including model design, fine-tuning, deployment, and application of techniques such as prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based architectures.
  • Own and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient codebases in Python (using frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph) and SQL, ensuring reusability, performance, and best engineering practices.
  • Drive cloud integration and deployment of GenAI applications on platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, ensuring efficient resource utilization and robust CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and business SMEs to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver impactful AI-driven products.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the engineering team, promoting best practices in machine learning and generative AI development.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in LLMs and generative AI, proactively experimenting with emerging techniques and incorporating innovations to improve model performance and system capabilities.

Required skills

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, or solutions engineering, ideally in a customer-facing capacity, including at least 2+ years focused on building and deploying AI/ML models and systems.
  • 1+ year of experience developing Generative AI (LLM) applications using techniques such as prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and/or agent-based frameworks.
  • Strong expertise in architecting and designing GenAI applications and systems using modern frameworks and cloud-native services.
  • Proficiency in working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to build, deploy, and scale GenAI solutions.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, along with hands-on experience in LangChain/LangGraph and SQL.
  • Proven ability to lead and drive engineering teams toward execution of a defined technical roadmap.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business SMEs and cross-functional teams.

Education

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

 

Salary Range: $180-220K Base + equity
