About the Role
As an intern at PickNik Robotics you’ll be helping improve tutorials, make more exciting simulated worlds in MuJoCo, perform QA on new software releases, report issues/bugs, and possibly maintain in-house robotic hardware demos. You will be an in-house user of our software, helping us improve the developer experience and fixing issues you find along the way. You will leverage AI coding tools, as well as review C++, and Python. At the end of your internship you will have made a substantial contribution to our commercial-ready MoveIt Pro software product!

Requirements
- Completed your 3rd year of undergrad, or later. Ideally working on a Masters or PhD degree(s) in Computer Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Eagerness to work on learning materials - documentation, tutorials, and example simulations.
- Knowledge of command line, Linux, git, Claude Code
- Familiarity with C++ and Python.
Some preferred skills/experience:
- Experience with ROS, MoveIt, and/or MuJoCo are advantageous
- General experience with motion planning, inverse kinematics, control systems, and/or simulation
- Demonstrated ability, either through previous projects, advanced education/research, and/or knowledge of the robotics field
Minimum Salary
- The minimum salary for this position is $4,000/month
