Digital Transformation Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a forward-thinking AI Specialist to drive digital transformation initiatives within our M&E contracting operations. The role involves leveraging Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and data-driven solutions to optimize project delivery, enhance operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Data Solutions

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for predictive maintenance, resource optimization, and project risk management.
• Implement computer vision and IoT-based solutions for monitoring construction sites, equipment, and safety compliance.
• Automate repetitive tasks such as document processing, tender evaluation, and project reporting.

Digital Transformation

• Lead initiatives to digitize workflows, including BIM (Building Information Modelling) integration with AI.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify areas for digital adoption.
• Drive adoption of cloud-based platforms, dashboards, and analytics tools for real-time project monitoring.

Innovation & Strategy

• Research emerging technologies (AI, robotics, digital twins) and assess applicability to M&E contracting.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and pilot projects to demonstrate ROI of AI-driven solutions.
• Support leadership in defining digital transformation roadmaps aligned with business goals.

Collaboration

• Work closely with IT, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on digital tools and AI applications.
• Liaise with external vendors, consultants, and technology partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Possesses 5 – 8 years experience in AI/ML model development, data analytics, and digital transformation projects.
• Familiarity with M&E contracting, construction, or engineering industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, SQL, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with BIM, IoT, and digital twin technologies is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
