About the Role
About HexCoded
HexCoded is an AI video studio: you should be able to make anything you can imagine. We are a very small team in Gurgaon building the tools that are reshaping how video, image and audio get made — and selling them to customers in India and the US.
Small enough that there is no layer between a decision and the person who has to live with it. You will not be briefed on the strategy; you will be in the room where it is argued about.
About the role
This is the seat next to the founder.
Each week you take on whatever is genuinely the most important thing — a pricing question, a funnel that is leaking, fifty customer conversations, a competitor teardown, an ads experiment, a bug that is quietly costing us signups — and you own it, end to end, until it is closed or killed.
Here is the part that makes it different from every other internship on your list: we expect one person to get through the work of three, because you will use AI to do it. Research, first drafts, analysis, outreach, teardowns, a quick script to move some data around — you should be reaching for a model before you reach for the manual method, every single time. We give you the tools and the budget for it. What we are looking for is someone who already works this way and wants to be somewhere that will not slow them down.
To be clear about what this is not: this is not an ML or AI engineering role. You will not be training models. You will be using them, all day, to do the actual work of building and selling a company.
This is also not a research internship. Nothing you make ends in a deck nobody reads. Everything you touch either ships, moves a number, or gets killed fast — usually within the week.
The work is wide on purpose. You will not become an expert in one function in three months; you will find out, at speed, which parts of building a company you are actually good at. That is the trade, and it is a good one at the start of a career.
The measure of the role: by month three, there should be things running at HexCoded that only you know how to run.
