LLM Engineer

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional LLM Engineer to join our UniQue Ispra team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Support and manage the end-to-end deployment lifecycle of LLM-based solutions (development, testing, staging, production).
• Implement and maintain scalable, containerized LLM deployments.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and related tools.
• Configure, deploy, and manage workloads in Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with architects and senior stakeholders to translate solution designs into production-ready systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize LLM performance in production environments.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and operational stability of AI systems.
• Contribute to automation, documentation, and DevOps best practices.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Master + 5 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.
• Practical experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) in development or deployment contexts.
• Strong DevOps background, including:

• Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring, troubleshooting)
• GitHub (version control, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines)

• Working knowledge of Python (scripting, debugging, basic development tasks).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools.
• Good knowledge of English
