About the Role

As a Manager – Gen AI Agentification, you will lead the Gen C Pod, owning the delivery and scaling of AI agent‑based solutions aligned to business priorities. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end delivery governance, stakeholder engagement, and team performance while ensuring GenAI initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes.

In this role, you will:

  • Own delivery of Gen AI Agentification workflows from design through execution.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage Senior Associates and offshore resources.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to prioritize and sequence AI use cases.
  • Establish SLAs, KPIs, and governance mechanisms for pod delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, tool enhancements, and upstream defect elimination.
  • Monitor risks, dependencies, and delivery health, implementing mitigation strategies proactively.
  • Provide regular reporting on progress, risks, productivity gains, and cost savings to leadership.
  • Facilitate cross‑pod knowledge sharing and best‑practice adoption.
  • Ensure quality, scalability, and sustainability of AI agent‑based solutions.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and innovation‑driven team culture aligned with Cognizant values.

What you must have to be considered

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in program delivery, AI/ML operations, or technology transformation.
  • Strong understanding of AI agent frameworks, prompt engineering, and process automation.
  • Proficiency in DotNet, SQL, or equivalent scripting skills (preferred).
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate business challenges into scalable AI solutions.

  • Experience scaling AI or automation solutions across teams or functions.
  • Strong delivery governance and metrics‑driven execution.

  • Experience presenting insights and outcomes to senior leadership.

Performance Measures

  • Timely delivery of Gen AI Agentification workflows within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Achievement of defined SLA and KPI targets (e.g., productivity uplift, headcount savings).
  • Stakeholder satisfaction and adoption metrics.
  • Measurable improvements in automation coverage and defect reduction.
