They are seeking a Junior Cloud & AI Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in KL Eco City and contribute to cloud infrastructure, AI deployment, and IT operations projects.

Job Overview

As a Junior Cloud & AI Infrastructure Engineer, you will assist in deploying, managing, and supporting cloud infrastructure and AI solutions. You will work closely with the engineering team to troubleshoot technical issues, implement basic automation, and contribute to AI deployment projects.

This role is ideal for candidates who are curious, eager to learn, and want to build a career in cloud infrastructure, AI operations, and IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure across AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Support the implementation and operation of AI solutions, including AI models, APIs, and automation workflows.
• Monitor cloud environments to ensure system performance, reliability, and availability.
• Troubleshoot and assist in resolving infrastructure and AI-related technical issues.
• Work with the IT security team to implement security best practices and support incident response procedures.
• Provide technical support for client cloud environments and AI applications.
• Participate in cloud and AI project deployments, including testing, validation, and proof-of-concept implementations.
• Collaborate with technology partners, system integrators, and internal teams to evaluate and implement technical solutions.
• Document deployment procedures and contribute to process improvements and infrastructure automation initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Strong interest in AI technologies, automation, or machine learning deployment.
• Familiarity with Linux or Windows operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including IP addressing, DNS, HTTP, and TCP/IP.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic scripting knowledge such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is an advantage.
• Fluency in Chinese-speaking is an advantage to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues across Greater China, including Hong Kong and Taiwan.
• Proactive, collaborative, and motivated to develop technical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud certifications such as:
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• AWS SysOps Administrator Associate
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate
• Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker), APIs, or AI platforms is an added advantage.

Fresh graduates or candidates with internship experience in cloud, DevOps, or AI-related projects are encouraged to apply.
