Junior AI Backend Engineer

Elephant Brain Lab and Fundaction MedAlgoritmo is seeking looking for a motivated Engineering graduate or postgraduate with strong academic exposure to Artificial Intelligence. This role is ideal for candidates with college, University-level AI projects with or without industry experience.

You will work on real-time AI backend systems combining:

• Speech-to-Text (STT) / Text-to-Speech (TTS)
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• AR/VR integration
• EEG-based neurofeedback systems

Educational Requirement (Mandatory)

• Master’s degree in AI / Machine Learning
• OR
• Bachelor’s degree in AI Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field What We Expect
• Strong Python fundamentals.
• Academic or project experience in AI/ML.
• College project experience in NLP, speech models, or LLM-based systems.
• Basic understanding of cloud or Docker (training-level knowledge acceptable).
• Good written and spoken English.
• Willingness to learn real-time streaming systems.

Good to Have

• Experience using Whisper or similar STT tools (even in academic projects).
• Exposure to LangChain or LLM-based pipelines.
• Knowledge of APIs and backend basics.

Job Types: Contractual / Temporary, Internship

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
