Role Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated AI/ML Interns to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who have a solid foundation in machine learning fundamentals and hands-on experience with ML projects. As an intern, you will work alongside our AI specialists on real-world projects, gain exposure to production-level ML systems, and contribute to meaningful work in drug discovery.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in building, training, and evaluating machine learning models for various prediction tasks

• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis on diverse datasets

• Collaborate with senior AI engineers to prototype and iterate on model architectures

• Conduct literature reviews and implement state-of-the-art ML techniques from recent publications

• Help prepare visualisations, reports, and presentations to communicate model results and insights

Requirements:

Must-Have Qualifications

• Recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

• Strong understanding of core ML fundamentals: supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, classification, clustering, model evaluation metrics, bias-variance tradeoff, and cross-validation

• Hands-on experience with at least 2–3 ML projects (academic, personal, or competition-based such as Kaggle)

• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with key ML/data science libraries such as scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib

• Basic understanding of deep learning concepts including neural networks, CNNs, and RNNs

• Experience using Jupyter Notebooks or similar interactive development environments

• Ability to explain ML concepts and model outputs clearly, both verbally and in writing

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub)

• Exposure to NLP, computer vision, or graph-based machine learning

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for ML workflows
