IMAGE RECOGNITION / AI ENGINEER

JSM Applications, Inc has developed a Travel Assistant Application that uses Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to give users a unique experience when out on the town or traveling abroad. We are looking to hire an Image Recognition / AI Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, documenting, implementing and full life cycle management of custom image recognition solutions that will be integrated into our unique mobile application platform and stand alone software package. This position is responsible for constructing general software solutions in an AWS environment as part of a team as well as working independently. This position is also responsible for taking a leadership role when developing and supporting solutions design and AI integration.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement algorithms and code for analyzing large image data sets using image analysis algorithms.

Develop proof of concept applications to showcase and test out new ideas and algorithms for feature extraction and image analysis.

Build flexible platform for performing image analysis on large data sets

Perform analysis on customer data using image processing platform to solve image classification and image analysis problems

Improve existing algorithms for scaling up performance – faster processing and handling larger volume of images.

Desired experience and skills

Experience and interest in using pattern recognition and image processing techniques to analyze large sets of images using AWS platform

Experience in developing programs for analyzing images over noisy and uncertain image data sets

Experience working on developing AI based human vision technologies.

Excellent mathematics/statistics background with hands on experience using image analysis tools and libraries.

Experience building data driven image classification models.

Experience creating data visualization tools.

Experience in developing real-time image analysis systems.
