Senior Product Developer – Robotics

As we expand our leadership in home robotics, we seek a Senior Product Developer – Tech (PD-T) to drive the next generation of SharkNinja Robots. Role Overview
The Product Development – Robots team is at the heart of SharkNinja’s innovation engine, responsible for delivering breakthrough robotic products from concept to launch. As a Senior Product Developer – Tech (PD-T), you will act as a “product CEO” for assigned robot platforms, collaborating with engineering, software, UX, quality, and commercial teams to deliver best-in-class consumer experiences. You will be a technical leader and advocate for the consumer, ensuring our robots are reliable, intelligent, and delight users in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Robot Product Roadmap: Lead the development and enhancement of SharkNinja’s robot portfolio, including day-to-day management of technical requirements, product improvements, and optimizations. Champion the integration of advanced technologies (e.g., SLAM, AI, connectivity) to deliver differentiated features and performance.
- Technical Leadership: Define, develop, and iterate product specifications for robots, balancing consumer needs, market opportunities, and technical feasibility. Partner closely with engineering and software teams to translate consumer insights into robust, scalable solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineers, marketers, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure seamless execution from prototype to mass production. Facilitate technical discussions, resolve roadblocks, and ensure alignment across global teams.
- Competitive Analysis: Lead technical benchmarking of competitor robots, identifying gaps and opportunities for SharkNinja to lead in performance, reliability, and user experience.
- Legacy Product Stewardship: Serve as the technical expert for legacy robot lines, gathering feedback from consumers and the market to inform next-generation product development.
