About the Role

As a Data Foundations Analyst within the SC&O Data Foundations team, you will help organizations build the data backbone required to unlock value from analytics, AI, and agentic solutions across Supply Chain and Operations.

You will work on data‑driven transformation initiatives, combining data strategy, data management, and emerging AI capabilities to create scalable, trusted, and reusable data assets.

The role is based in Madrid o Barcelona in a hybrid work model, spending some days working from home and others in the office, where you will collaborate closely with your team.

It is essential to reside in Spain and have a valid work permit.

FUNCTIONS

  • Contribute to data‑driven transformation initiatives across Supply Chain & Operations, focusing on data cleansing, harmonization, and enrichment.

  • Design and build reusable, governed, and AI‑ready data products, enabling consumption by analytics platforms and AI agents.

  • Support the implementation of data governance frameworks, including business definitions, data quality rules, metadata, and lineage.

  • Operate and monitor AI‑enabled data solutions ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across complex datasets.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Apply data modeling concepts and SQL to design and maintain scalable relational structures for supply chain analytics.

  • Use Python, Databricks, Power BI, SQL‑based platforms, or similar technologies to build data pipelines, automate data processes, and create curated datasets.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including data engineers, AI specialists, and business stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions.

  • Develop semantic layers, reporting structures, and self‑service capabilities enabling consumption by applications, dashboards, and agentic systems


Education & Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field

  • Business Administration or similar degrees are welcome if complemented with data, analytics, or data science coursework

Experience

  • Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in data-related roles.

  • Hands-on experience in data, analytics, or AI through professional work, internships, or projects is highly valued.

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Very high interest and motivation to learn and grow around AI and agentic AI applied to data and business processes

  • Basic understanding of:

    • Data modeling concepts

    • SQL and relational data structures

    • Data lifecycle and data management principles

  • Familiarity with Python and/or data & analytics tools such as:

    • SQL‑based platforms

    • Alteryx, Databricks, Power BI, or similar technologies

Mindset & Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset

  • Curiosity about data governance, data quality, and data harmonization

  • Willingness to learn and work with complex data ecosystems

  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional and multicultural teams

  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to grow in a fast‑evolving data & AI environment
