About the Role
Join a pioneering team in the marine technology sector. Our client is a leader in autonomous hull cleaning solutions , utilizing advanced robotics to enhance maritime efficiency. We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer who is passionate about robotics, data-driven maintenance, and technical leadership.
Highlight: Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive 2-week technical training program in China to master our proprietary robotic systems.
Key Responsibilities
• System Maintenance: Perform end-to-end troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, and repair of marine robotic systems (ROVs/Cleaners).
• Reliability Engineering: Implement Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and predictive strategies using vibration, thermal, and energy data.
• Operational Excellence: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair).
• Vendor Management: Liaise with external service providers for specialized repairs and spare parts procurement to minimize equipment downtime.
• Technical Training: Conduct internal workshops and OJT (On-the-Job Training) for team members on sensor calibration and actuator maintenance.
• Reporting: Present monthly equipment health assessments and maintenance cost analysis to senior management.
Requirements
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering , Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Skills: Proficient in using electrical diagnostic tools (Multimeters, Oscilloscopes) and basic mechanical hand tools.
• Experience: Prior experience in robotics or marine engineering is an advantage, but fresh graduates/passionate learners are welcome as full training is provided.
• Attributes: Analytical mindset with a focus on "Root Cause Analysis." Must be comfortable working in marine/outdoor environments and confined spaces.
• Mobility: Must be able to travel to China for a 2-week intensive training session.
