The role  

As a Lead Tech Data Engineer — Snowflake (all genders), you will combine strong hands-on data engineering expertise with technical and people leadership. You will lead a team of around  Data Engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery while staying close to the technology.

As part of our Data & AI practice, you will work with enterprise clients on modern data platforms, with a strong focus on Snowflake, data engineering best practices and AI-ready data solutions,Client-focused.

Role responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers.
• Own day-to-day technical delivery, priorities and quality.
• Support team development through mentoring, feedback and knowledge-sharing.
• Review technical work and promote strong engineering practices.

Data Engineering

• Stay hands-on, developing and improving Snowflake-based data solutions and pipelines.
• Build scalable ELT/ETL workflows using Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Fivetran/Stitch or similar tools.
• Drive best practices around SQL, data modelling, testing, data quality and CI/CD.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support the team in finding pragmatic solutions.
• Help teams adopt modern and more efficient ways of working.

Must have qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar technical role.
• Strong hands-on Snowflake expertise.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring Data Engineers.
• Strong SQL and modern data pipeline experience.
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran/Stitch or equivalent.
• Good understanding of data modelling, data quality and cloud data platforms.
• Strong communication skills in French and English (C1).
• Ability to balance hands-on engineering with team leadership.
